Upon arriving at the Lodge, I was immediately struck by the charm and history of the building. Linda and Clive, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home. the room I stayed in was not only beautiful, but also equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. the daily cleaning service was a nice touch, ensuring that everything was kept in pristine condition. One element that I particularly appreciated was the ironing facilities provided in the room. the heating in the room could be adjusted to my liking, ensuring that I stayed warm and cozy throughout the night. In terms of dining facilities, the breakfast options at the Lodge were both plentiful and delicious. I enjoyed a hearty meal each morning, prepared with care by Linda. the variety of choices, including cereal and different hot breakfast options, catered to a range of preferences. The garden area at the Lodge was a lovely spot to relax and unwind. the well-maintained space featured beautiful flowers, sculptures, and even a pond with fish. Overall, my experience at the Lodge was a delightful one. the combination of excellent service, comfortable facilities, and tranquil atmosphere made for a truly enjoyable stay.
